Last Hippie Standing (Unreleased Footage) – A Full Documentary on Goa Trance & Hippie Culture.
“Goa is not a Place – Goa is a state of Mind! A rare & beautiful Documentary by the German filmmaker Marcus Robbin about old hippie times in Goa and what it has become now. The film compares the 60s and 70s hippie era with the situation in 2000 and works without commentary and consists of documentation of the ongoing party culture in Goa, as well as private and previously unreleased Super 8 footage from the sixties and seventies in Goa, filmed by Cleo Odzer. This material is the only existing contemporary film document of the hippie days in Goa. Furthermore, interviews with hippie veterans like Goa Gil, Francisco Sardinha, describe the clashes that occur between the party culture and Indian conservatism. The last part of the documentary is shot at the Berlin Love Parade, where the protagonists reflect about their own spiritual development and the changes that have happened since the hippie movement had started. From the beaches of Arambol to Anjuna, Hippie revellers and ravers are hard to miss with all the color, energy and vibes they radiate. Last Hippy Standing is a must see for everyone who is interested to know more about the Hippie Culture and […]

Breaking: Goa Has Just Legalized Marijuana Use Across the Entire State.
Goa has become the first State to legalize marijuana use. The amendments will be made to the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 on 1st April 2017 said our source, which means legal cannabis farms and the distribution of marijuana products will have the governments go-ahead. One of the Officials said in a statement “This is a historic day for Goa and the many that supports the marijuana use without being treated as criminals.” This is a huge leap for supporters of legalized marijuana across the world, and hopefully now other states such as Gujarat, Maharashtra and Punjab will do the same… Nah!! It’s Just April Fool’s Day Joke. Marijuana is still illegal all across India (And won’t be legalized anytime soon). But there is new study that says 60% of Facebook users only read the headline of breaking stories before sharing. The study was conducted by Computer Scientists at Columbia University and the French National Institute. Worse, the study finds that these sort of blind peer-to-peer shares are really important in determining what news gets circulated and what just fades off the public radar. So your thoughtless retweets, and those of your friends, are actually shaping our shared […]

3 Reasons why you should Never Drink Beers from the Bottle.
There is no denying the satisfaction in popping the cap off a beer at the end of a long day and sipping straight from the bottle. But. Pouring the ice cold cold beer into a pint glass has its own rewards. The simple reason of why you should ditch the bottle in favor of a glass and not just any glass- the right glass is as said below: De-gassing your Beer Beer was never meant to be consumed directly from a bottle or can. On an Average a naturally fermented beer contains about 2.5 volumes of carbon dioxide. So if you drink it right out of the can or bottle, you’re actually putting a bottle of water and 1/2 bottles of gas in your stomach. And that will leave you feeling bloated. The gas that gives beer its bubbliness or froth is a natural aspect of fermentation. But it’s really intended that you explode some of that gas out when you pour it. The plain action of pouring the beer out of the bottle gives it the right taste, aroma and greatly reduces the feeling of fullness or bloating. Foamy Top is Good Drinking beer from a glass can also tell you things about the beer you’re about to consume. It’s color can give you an […]
